The Seven Triggering Mechanisms for Sure Success.

1. Passion - All truly successful people such as Lee Iacocca have a driving force within them that sets them apart from others. A desire, an energy that gives them the fuel to reach their true potential. This force is a part of them 24 hours a day, seven days a week. It never subsides. Their total existence is sustained for the fulfillment of their goals. The passion within this individual to achieve has been so deeply implanted, that their mental power is driven by this force and will not let them do anything other than achieve.

2. Belief - "They can because they think they can"-Virgil. You will only make $100,000 this year if you first believe you can. If you do not believe you can, you are telling yourself you want it, but it is truly not obtainable. The truth of life is that man's limits are self imposed by what the mind is given to believe. If you expand your belief of your own abilities, you will also expand your true realm of accomplishment. A man of whom all are aware, lived his life with adversity, but he constantly believed he could achieve.

Failed in business at age 31

Was defeated in a legislative race at age 32

Failed again in business at age 34

Overcome death of sweetheart at age 35

Had a nervous breakdown at age 36

Lost an election at age 38

Lost a congressional race at age 43

Lost a congressional race at age 46

Lost a congressional race at age 48

Lost a Senatorial race at age 55

Failed to become Vice President at age 56

Lost a Senatorial race at age 58

Was elected President of the United States at age 60

With all the adversity that faced him, President Abraham Lincoln had no reason to continually try other than the fact that he believed it was his destiny and measure of success to accomplish this task.

3. Strategy - A strategy is your game plan of life. The road map you will use to accomplish your goals, ambitions and desires. Just to believe you can earn $100,000 a year is not enough, you must design a strategy that gives your life direction and navigates you toward success. The key to strategy is to design a proper strategy to achieve your success without the detours of life, to find the shortest distance between two points.

4. Clarity of Values - Man must first determine which things in life are most valuable to

him. He must determine his feeling about such things as patriotism, pride, love, freedom,

excellence, ownership and tolerance. These are values in society, the moral, ethical and

fundamental judgments that we, as individuals, deem important. Without a clear system of values for ourselves, it is impossible to believe in something with a passion that has no value to us. Once we have established our individual value system we are then able to determine how we can achieve success based on our priority of values. What must we five up in one hand to accomplish what we desire on the other. Without a value system we can never move forward for we may be trading without increasing our potential for success.

5. Energy - Without the physical vitality to take action, nothing would ever come of our system to this point. The passion could build, our belief of accomplishment could be overwhelming, we could have the best strategy or map to achieve the ultimate value for our own life, but if not for taking the first step, nothing could ever be accomplished. Great success cannot be separated from physical, spiritual and mental energy that allows us, compels us, to accomplish the most with what we have to work with. Physical energy comes from the strength of the body itself fueled by our intake of nourishment. It is therefore important that we fuel our engine with premium fuel (good eating habits), not low grade regular (junk food). Our spiritual and intellectual energy evolves from our environment and it is therefore important that we assess our own personal environment to maximize the energy that we can obtain.

6. Bonding Power - We have all known people that have exhibited the ability to get along with anyone and everyone. The ability to be a chameleon is truly the ability to connect with and bond with others.

7. Mastery of Communication - To take charge and run your own mind. No longer allow our mind to run our lives, but rather take charge of our own mental abilities and cause them to work for our own accomplishment of success.

I wish you every success!

The World's Best Place To Live

Norway has retained its status as the world's most desirable country to live in, according to UN figures. The sub-Saharan African states affected by war and HIV/Aids were ranked as the least attractive places.
Information collected prior to the global economic crisis showed people in Norway, Australia and Iceland had the best living standards. The UK was in 21st place. Niger, Afghanistan and Sierra Leone scored worst in terms of human development.
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) index was compiled using 2007 data on GDP per capita, education, and life expectancy. It showed marked differences between the developed and developing world.
"Despite significant improvements over time, progress has been uneven," UNDP said in a statement. "Many countries have experienced setbacks over recent decades, in the face of economic downturns, conflict-related crises and the HIV/AIDS epidemic, and this was even before the impact of the global economic crisis was felt."
Life expectancy in Niger was 50, about 30 years shorter than Norway, according to the index. For every dollar earned per person in Niger, $85 was earned in Norway. Half the people in the poorest 24 countries were illiterate, compared to 20% in nations classed as having medium levels of human development, the index showed.
Japanese people lived longer than others, to 82.7 years on average, with life expectancy in war-ravaged Afghanistan just 43.6 years.
Liechtenstein has the highest gross domestic product per capita at $85,383 in a tiny principality that is home to 35,000 people, 15 banks and more than 100 wealth management companies.
People were poorest in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where average income per person was $298 per year.

An Experiment in Love and Responsibility That You can Do Right Now

Think of something you have struggled with in yourself—perhaps it’s your weight or your fear of speaking in public. Let your mind settle on this one thing so that you are clear about what it is. Now think of someone or something that you know for sure that you love. Perhaps it’s a certain loved one or anaction like riding your bike in the country on a sunny day. The only requirement is that you have reliably felt love in the presence of this person or thing. Let yourself feel that love in your body and mind right now. Now take a leap: Love that thing you have struggled with just as you love the person or thing that you know for sure you love. You may say, “But I hate it.”
All right, then love yourself for hating. Then love it. Greet it with loving acceptance. Now for the responsibility part of the experiment. Acknowledge yourself as the source and creator of the problem you have been focusing on. Let’s say you are focusing on your weight. Even if you come from thirteen generations of overweight ancestors, you can choose to take responsibilityfor your weight now. Responsibility begins the moment you take it. You don’t have to wait for anything to happen before you take responsibility

10 (More) Reasons you’re Not Rich

By Jeffrey Strain
Wednesday, October 1, 2008 provided by www.street.com

Many people assume they aren't rich because they don't earn enough money. If I only earned a little more, I could save and invest better, they say.
The problem with that theory is they were probably making exactly the same argument before their last several raises. Becoming a millionaire has less to do with how much you make, it's how you treat money in your daily life.

More from TheStreet.com:
A Defensive Strategy That Works
2 Simple Steps to Future Wealth
We All Just Learned an Expensive Lesson
The list of reasons you may not be rich doesn't end at 10. Caring what your neighbors think, not being patient, having bad habits, not having goals, not being prepared, trying to make a quick buck, relying on others to handle your money, investing in things you don't understand, being financially afraid and ignoring your finances.
Here are 10 more possible reasons you aren't rich:
You care what your car looks like: A car is a means of transportation to get from one place to another, but many people don't view it that way. Instead, they consider it a reflection of themselves and spend money every two years or so to impress others instead of driving the car for its entire useful life and investing the money saved.
You feel entitlement: If you believe you deserve to live a certain lifestyle, have certain things and spend a certain amount before you have earned to live that way, you will have to borrow money. That large chunk of debt will keep you from building wealth.
You lack diversification: There is a reason one of the oldest pieces of financial advice is to not keep all your eggs in a single basket. Having a diversified investment portfolio makes it much less likely that wealth will suddenly disappear.
You started too late: The magic of compound interest works best over long periods of time. If you find you're always saying there will be time to save and invest in a couple more years, you'll wake up one day to find retirement is just around the corner and there is still nothing in your retirement account.
You don't do what you enjoy: While your job doesn't necessarily need to be your dream job, you need to enjoy it. If you choose a job you don't like just for the money, you'll likely spend all that extra cash trying to relieve the stress of doing work you hate.
You don't like to learn: You may have assumed that once you graduated from college, there was no need to study or learn. That attitude might be enough to get you your first job or keep you employed, but it will never make you rich. A willingness to learn to improve your career and finances are essential if you want to eventually become wealthy.
You buy things you don't use: Take a look around your house, in the closets, basement, attic and garage and see if there are a lot of things you haven't used in the past year. If there are, chances are that all those things you purchased were wasted money that could have been used to increase your net worth.
You don't understand value: You buy things for any number of reasons besides the value that the purchase brings to you. This is not limited to those who feel the need to buy the most expensive items, but can also apply to those who always purchase the cheapest goods. Rarely are either the best value, and it's only when you learn to purchase good value that you have money left over to invest for your future.
Your house is too big: When you buy a house that is bigger than you can afford or need, you end up spending extra money on longer debt payments, increased taxes, higher upkeep and more things to fill it. Some people will try to argue that the increased value of the house makes it a good investment, but the truth is that unless you are willing to downgrade your living standards, which most people are not, it will never be a liquid asset or money that you can ever use and enjoy.
You fail to take advantage of opportunities: There has probably been more than one occasion where you heard about someone who has made it big and thought to yourself, "I could have thought of that." There are plenty of opportunities if you have the will and determination to keep your eyes open.

The Woman Behind Obama

by Elayne Clift

Thirty years ago, when Stanley Ann Dunham Soetoro lived in Yogyakarta, it was perhaps a less busy, tourist-filled metropolis than it is today. But probably little else has changed since the 1970s. Marlioboro, the wide boulevard that is home to copious Batik emporia, is still filled with 'becak' (bicycle rickshaws) and horse-drawn surreys. 'Warung' (street-side food vendors) continue to offer 'Martabak' (pancakes) and 'Nasi Gorung' (fried rice). And in this cultural capital of Indonesia, artists still thrive.Soetoro, who died in 1995 at age 52 from ovarian cancer, was the mother of Barack Obama, the Democratic candidate for president in the U.S. Her influence on her now-famous son cannot be underestimated. Although he wrote a bestseller about his search for the absent father, 'Dreams From My Father', Obama has said that his mother "was the single constant in my life." He describes her as "the kindest, most generous spirit I have ever known. What is best in me," he says, "I owe to her."Soetoro was a study in contradictions.
Married to Obama's Kenyan father when she was a pregnant teenager, she went on to earn a Ph.D. in anthropology and do vital work for women in the field of microfinance. A Midwestern American, she married first an African and then an Indonesian. A mother who adored her children, she insisted on working. She has been described by those who knew her as "fearless, capable, intelligent, curious and open."Stanley Ann Dunham (so named because her father wanted a boy) was born in 1942 in Kansas. The family moved frequently and lived in Honolulu when Ann enrolled at the University of Hawaii. There, she met Barack Obama Sr. in a Russian language class. Several months after they met, in February 1961, Ann and Barack married. Ann was three months pregnant. She dropped out of college. When Barack was not yet one, his father left for Harvard to earn a Ph.D. in economics and the marriage ended. Not long after, with help from family and friends, Ann returned to college to earn a bachelor's degree. During this time she met Lolo Soetoro at the University of Hawaii. In 1967, Ann and her young son Barack followed him to Jakarta, to a home without electricity, a backyard with chickens and a baby crocodile, and a neighborhood of unpaved streets.
Eventually Soetoro did well working for an American oil company but he and Ann grew apart as she became increasingly intrigued with traditional Indonesia.Ann began teaching English at the American embassy in Indonesia while giving her son English lessons in the early morning hours before he left for school. At night she would expose her young son to books about the American civil rights movement and her daughter, Maya, to multicultural dolls. "She believed that bigotry of any sort was wrong and that the goal was to treat everybody as unique individuals," Obama told TIME Magazine in an April interview.
In 1971, when Obama was 10 years old, his mother sent him back to Hawaii to live with his grandparents while attending prep school on scholarship. The separation was hard on both mother and son but a year later Ann was also back in Hawaii to earn a master's degree in anthropology, focusing on Indonesia. This also marked the end of her marriage to Soetoro from whom she was divorced in 1980. The move marked a turning point in Ann's life. She became increasingly self-assured and passionate about her work, eventually deciding to return to Indonesia for Ph.D. fieldwork. Obama, then 14, decided to stay in Hawaii for high school. Again, the separation was difficult but mother and son remained close.Ann began working for the Ford Foundation, as programme officer for women and employment and her home became a haven for politicians, artists and others who wanted to talk liberal politics.
Eventually she became a leader in microfinancing for women in Indonesia, well before the idea of giving women small loans became a major component of development. Her research helped the Bank Rakyat Indonesia set policy and today, according to TIME Magazine, "Indonesia's microfinance program is No. 1 in the world in terms of savers, with 31 million members, according to Microfinance Information eXchange Inc."By this time Obama, having graduated from Harvard Law School and having turned down lucrative work in a private law firm, was working in Chicago as a community organiser, an experience he sights often as he campaigns. He would soon go on to state and then national politics.
In 1992, two years before her premature death, Ann completed the extensive Ph.D. dissertation she had been working on for nearly two decades. The thesis, an in-depth analysis of peasant blacksmithing in Indonesia, is dedicated to Barack and Maya "who seldom complained when their mother was in the field."In an interview with 'The New York Times' in March, later reprinted by 'The Jakarta Post Sunday Magazine', Barack Obama's half-sister Maya said her mother "felt that somehow, wandering through uncharted territory, we might stumble upon something that will, in an instant, seem to represent who we are at the core." She did not want her children "to be limited by fear or narrow definitions," Maya added.
As Barack Obama campaigns for the presidency in America at a time of enormous social, political and economic change, those words seem prophetic. The first black to seek the highest office in the land, Ann Soetoro's son is certainly wandering through uncharted territory. He has spoken eloquently about not letting fear dominate voters' decisions and he has worked diligently to broaden crucial definitions that influence policy. In Indonesia, almost no one seems to be aware of Barack Obama's connection to this country. Not one person I spoke to informally for this article knew that he and his mother had lived here. No one realised he had an Indonesian half-sister (now working in Hawaii). And yet, ask anyone about Barack Obama and there is an immediate thumbs up, accompanied by a broad smile. (Some people think he is already president.) "Good man," they say. "Very good man."No doubt his mother would be very proud.(Elayne Clift, a writer from Vermont, USA, recently travelled in Thailand and Indonesia.)

Who Are You?

Say to someone, "Tell me about yourself," and what you are most likely to get is a description of their body, their job, perhaps their hobbies, likes and dislikes. But is this who we really are? All of these descriptions are about something outside, something other than the true Self. We have become so distracted by the world and its many facets that we forget, or rather choose not to look at who we really are. The best way to begin this is by defining what we are not!! We are not a body. We are not a job. We are not an illness. We are not a socio-economic status. We are not a parent or child. We are not a skin color. We are not an ethnicity. We are not a religion. We are not even our beliefs. All of these things describe something outside the Self. But if none of these things truly describe us...

How do we find who we are?

The answer is simple. We must look within. We must quiet our minds and our lives of the chaos around us and connect to the essence we are. Take a look at your life. Is there a disorder or chaos in any part of it? Perhaps every part of it? If so, know that you are giving in to an external focus rather than being centered in your true essence. To connect with this essence, we must be willing to enter the Silence of our Soul. There are many ways in which we can choose to enter the Silence, yet first we must overcome our fear of being alone with ourselves.

It is our fear of our thoughts about who we are, what life is and our judgments of others that keeps from entering the Silence of our Soul. When we give up these fears we discover that we were only frightened of our own thoughts. It is only by entering the Silence of the Soul that we can truly connect to the Tree of Life and fill ourselves with the Light.Let us dedicate some time each day to enter the Silence of our Soul and to connect with our true essence of Light. As we each does this, watch how Peace and Order begin to pervade our lives.

Getting Whatever You want…Is As Easy As You Want It To Be

How soon do you want to get what you want in life?
Hold on a minute, ask yourself further, the following questions : What is it that you want in life? What is the purpose and benefit of your existence? Do you have a role model(s)? What I’m saying in essence is that you must have a fixed destination that you are aiming to reach from where you are. Any individual that does not have a desire, a specific goal, an objective, the purpose for which he’s living, is like somebody setting out on a journey and does not know where he is going. The result such person would get is obvious, instant failure.

The following are the 3 Simple Steps to getting whatever you want in life :

1. Fix a Definite and Precise Goal

After a serious brainstorming on the questions above, you can decide to fix a specific goal for yourself. Though, some of the idea that would be coming to your mind may be far fetch, just list them as they come to your mind. It may be to design or invent a better way of doing a particular task, it may be to make a certain amount of money within a specific time frame, and so on. You will later work on your list and pick the one you know you most desire and start working on it immediately. This goal must have specific terminal date, because a goal without a fix date is nothing but wishful thinking. Don’t get me wrong here, you can have a daily, weekly, monthly or even yearly goal. What you need do is to strive towards achieving your set goal on or before the target date.

2. Follow a Specific and Proven Strategy

Now that a goal has been set, which is the ‘what’, the next step will be the ‘how’ i.e. thinking about the strategy to use in achieving your set goal. The first step here is to acquire the necessary knowledge on the ‘how’. You can do this in two ways, either to learn it through somebody that is already successful in the area you are venturing into and let him take you by the hand through the step by step guide on how to achieve your desired goal or to search for enough proven strategies, study them and use them as guide. The first strategy is usually preferable. For instance, if you want to have a fleet of car, own and run a successful Leasing company. What you need do is to find someone who has done that business successfully and ask him how he does it or ask him to be your mentor. You don’t necessarily need to reinvent a new strategy.

3. Jump over the Hurdles to Success

Let’s hit the nail on the head here. This is the stumbling block that stops sincere, smart, hard working people from having all that they want. Until you let go of your internal blocks to having it all, you will struggle to have more happiness, wealth and better relationships. The internal hurdles may be numerous, but you need to jump over them. Thus getting more confidence and be bold to take any step moving forward. To be frank, letting go of these success blocks can seem almost impossible. And to make even a little progress maybe difficult.

At this level you may be having some challenges that would make you fill like quitting, but this is where the power of consistency and perseverance would be of immense help. These challenges are normal, and they may let you ask yourself whether you are even on the right path. Here, it is how strong your spirit of perseverance is, that will determine your success here. But, the moment you are able to scale over these hurdles, your confidence will grow and you will be able to set new goals and do it over and over again.

To your success

SELF IMPROVEMENT

Self Improvement Before Team Improvement - This is the story of how Nokia became the world’s producer of cell phones. As Illustrated by John Maxwell

It all started when the hundred year old company, now a huge conglomerate began losing money, having passed through a lot of ups and downs. About that time in 1990, a young executive was asked to take over an unprofitable division: mobile –phones, his name is Jorma Ollila. He was so successful at turning this division around that he was made the president and CEO of the company in 1992.

Subsequently, he was met with the challenge of turning the entire company around with a two headed approach. Believing that the company’s greatest potential lay in communications technology, he began to divest other interest. Second, he realized that for a technology company, human resources were more important than natural resources. Ollila says that today “The technology cycles are shorter. We must build on our discontinuities and turn them into our favour”

Ollila believes in constant self-renewal and has made his personal goal of self improvement the corporate goal as well. “Continuous learning entitles everyone at Nokia to develop themselves and find ways to improve their performance,” says Ollila. “And what’s true for the individual is just as true for the whole company.” To improve the team, improve the individuals on the team. Ollila’s philosophy of individual self-improvement helped turn Nokia into a $20 billion global telecommunications system.

Additional Information:

The Nokia people are always self-improving, and are therefore ready to face new situations. “People who are constantly improving themselves make three processes an ongoing cycle in their lives:”

1. Preparation
Self-improving team members think about what they can do to improve themselves in the present, not in some far off future. They look for today’s potential learning moments, and they seize them. At the end of the day, they think about what they have learned and what they need to learn more about tomorrow. In this way, they become deliberate and continuing learners, which prepares them for challenges.

2. Contemplation
People who have greatly influence the world have spent considerable amount of time alone – contemplating, meditating, and listening. “Time alone is essential to self-improvement.” It allows us to evaluate our actions, to make adjustments where they are needed, and to plan for improved future action based on what was learned in the past.

3. Application
Now is the time to start applying what you have learned; don’t keep putting off that difficult change. Maxwell says change generally comes when: 1) people hurt enough that they have to, 2)they learn enough that they want to, and 3)they receive enough that they are able to. The goal is to keep learning so that you want to change for the better daily.

Furthermore, to become self-improving….
· Become highly teachable; learn and adopt the attitude of a learner, not an expert;
· Plan your progress. Adopt two levels of learning. First, choose an area that you want to improve and select books, lectures, conferences, experts to speak in the coming months. Second, create learning moments each day so that you learn something new everyday.
· Value self-improvement over self-promotion: “Make your next career move based on how it will improve you personally rather than how it will enhance you financially.”

Maxwell concludes with an anecdote of Charles Lindberg, the great Aviator. He says that Lindberg’s historic solo flight across the Atlanta was not a solo endeavour. It took the collaboration of others to make it happen. But, when it was time for the pilot to make his thirty-three hour flight, he was ready. A friend of his tells a story that shows that Lindberg had begun years earlier “just practicing” staying awake all night so that he would be ready when the opportunity to make that monumental flight presented itself. We all have much “practicing” to do to be ready when our big moment comes.

Success Is a Partnership

There is an old cliche that behind every successful man, there is a surprised mother-in-law. In most, if not all, cases, success is a direct result of the efforts of the individual and the support and encouragement of others. Like the fellow says, when you see a turtle on a fence post, you can rest assured that he did not get there by himself. When you see an individual climbing the success ladder and reaching the top, you can rest assured he did not get there entirely as a result of his own efforts. In virtually every case, each person had hope and encouragement from others. Nathaniel Hawthorne is a good example. He was discouraged and had a broken heart when he went home to tell his wife that he was a failure because he had been fired from his job in the customs house. Upon hearing the news, she startled him with an exuberant exclamation of joy. "Now," she said triumphantly, "you can write your book!" To that, Hawthorne responded with the question, "What are we going to live on while I am writing this book?" To his surprise and delight, she opened a drawer and drew out a substantial sum of money. "Where did you get that?" he asked. Her response is classic: "I've always known you were a man of genius," she told him, "and I knew that someday you would write a masterpiece, so every week, out of the money you gave me for housekeeping, I saved part of it. Here's enough to last us for a whole year." From wife Sophia's trust, confidence, thrift and careful planning came one of the classics of American literature: "The Scarlet Letter." This story of success can be repeated a few thousand times -- or make that a few million. It happens all the time. If this is your story in life, I hope you're careful to give credit to those who assisted you because if you do, I will see you farther up the ladder to the top!

The reason some people don't go very far in life is because they sidestep opportunity and shake hands with procrastination

Mean Old Woman

An old man and woman were married for years, even though they hated each other. When they had a confrontation, screaming and yelling could be heard deep into the night. The old man would shout, "When I die, I will dig my way up and out of the grave and come back and haunt you for the rest of your life!" Neighbors feared him because of the many strange occurrences that took place in their neighborhood. The old man liked the fact he was feared. To everyone's relief, he died of a heart attack when he was 68. His wife had a closed casket at the wake. After the burial, she went straight home and began to party as if there was no tomorrow. Her neighbors, concerned for her safety, asked, "Aren't you afraid that he may indeed be able to dig his way up and out of the grave and come back and haunt you for the rest of your life?" The wife put down her drink and said, "Let the old man dig. I had him buried upside down."

What are the reasons why People are not taking Action to start their Business

This question was asked online and the following are selected out of about seventeen reasons listed :

· Lack of capital
· Lack of education
· Lack of ideas
· Lack of mentor
· Lack of technical know how
· Fear
· laziness

In as much as one or more of the reasons above may be the reasons why some people have not started in business, some other reasons among this same list would still be the reasons why some other people have not yet started their own business too. But, the most deadly reason that is not listed above is procrastination.

If you have not started something, you would have one thousand and one reasons why you have not started. But, the moment you have been able to start, you have conquered procrastination and will only be facing challenges that will be appearing as stumbling blocks but are surmountable. With determination and perseverance, you will climb these blocks and use them as your stepping stones to success.

According to Napoleon Hill, people who do not succeed have a common distinguishing trait. They know all the reasons for failure, and have what they believe as effective alibis to explain their failure or lack of achievement. He's also of the opinion that alibis cannot be used for money. People want to know only one thing - have you achieve success?

So, my people let's wake up and take that action, we should not be afraid of failure. Don't say what if I fail, say instead what if I succeed.

If you have not read Napoleon Hill's 'Think and Grow Rich', you can at least look for the book and check the list of 55 famous alibis compiled by a character analyst on the last 6 pages. These alibis are now made obsolete by the master key you would have in your possession after reading the whole of the book.

The master key is powerful and it is the privilege of creating, in your own mind a burning desire for a definite form of riches.

The best way to move or push yourself to take proper action at the right time, is to be fully determined and focused. Your power and ability to take action despite all odds, is what makes you a determined and focused person. There is this saying that I believed so much in, and I have been using it as a very strong guiding principle for some time now. And this is “whatever you love or strongly desire, you would definitely find time for it” In essence, you will make it possible. Check out this statement and confirm it’s truthfulness. Let us consider this scenario, you were going for an appointment or rather a deal that would fetch you a very huge some of money in your business, you were almost at the venue of the appointment and suddenly remembered that you have forgotten a very vital document required to complete the deal, won’t you go back to pick the document? Your answer is as good as mine.

Let me leave you with this quote "Life is a checkerboard, and the player opposite you is time. If you hesitate before moving, or neglect to move promptly, your men will be wiped off the board by time. You are playing against a partner who will not tolerate indecision"

WHAT DOES A WOMAN WANT IN A MAN ?

When I was growing up as a young undergraduate, something used to bother my mind so terribly that I would be wondering whether it will be easy for me to settle down as a married man and have a family of my own.

What used to bother my mind back then has it's root in the topic of this post, 'what does a woman want in a man?' Each time I heard this question thrown to any young lady, the kind of response I usually hear saddens me.

If you take a sample of a hundred Single ladies, the reply of about 90% of them will include but not limited to these five words….Caring , Young, Handsome, dark , Tall and Rich. Having this in mind, I would sit back and think about it… do these ladies really know what they want?. Because, Men that would meet all these requirements may not be very easy to come by.

However, if you now take a sample of another hundred married women, you will discover that 50% of them did not really got married to the man who actually meet all these imaginary criteria, but are still happily married. At the time , the handful that might have counted themselves lucky for getting married to the man of their choice, may not necessarily be happy in their marriage

In view of the foregoing, what does a woman really want in a Man? Or rather, what are the most important qualities a woman should look out for in a Man? I think it is now important for the happily married Women to sit back and ask themselves this question again.
I hope they now know better and should be able to answer this question objectively. I am very sure their answers would now be different from what it used to be in those days of ‘ignorance’

Having settled down as a married Man with two children, I now know there shouldn’t have been any cause for alarm about those ‘Imaginary Criteria’ of those days.

Lastly, in my own personal opinion, what I think a woman really need in a man is these two words ‘Love and care” which are all encompassing. With the woman also giving same in return, the home would definitely be a happy home.
